Areas of Operation
- Seronera (All year round):
Launch site is near Mawe ya Swai, and the breakfast site is at our base near Research… 10 mins from the airstrip.
- Kogatende (Jul to Nov):
Launch site is near Makutano, and the breakfast site is at our base near Mara Under Canvas – 10 min from the Kogatende Airstrip.
- Kirawira (May to Jul):
Launch site is near Mbalageti Road, and the breakfast site is at our base on the road to Kirawira Serena, 1 km from Kirawira airstrip Junction.
- Ndutu (Dec to Mar):
Launch site is along the Golini road, and the breakfast site is at our base near Tanapa Ranger Post – 10 min from the airstrip.
- Lamai (Jul to Nov):
Launch site is near the Kenyan Boarder – Table Hill, and the breakfast site is at our base – 15 mins from the Lamai Airstrip.
- Grumeti Singita (All year round):
Launch site is near the Grumeti River.

Important Limitations
This activity is not suitable for:
- Pregnant women
- Children under 5 or shorter than 1.2m
- Guests with serious neck or back injuries
- Guests with significant mobility challenges
- A minimum of 2 passengers is required for a flight to operate.
Pickup & Flight Preparation
- Guests are briefed the night before and must sign a waiver.
- Pickup between 3:00 AM and 5:00 AM, depending on the camp’s location.
- Light refreshments (Tanzanian coffee & cookies) served before the flight at the launch site.
- Safety briefing and flight preparation conducted on-site
Flight Experience
- Take-off: Around 6:30 AM, depending on weather.
- Witness the Serengeti sunrise and enjoy breathtaking views of the plains.
- Spot wildlife from above in total serenity.
- Landing may vary depending on the wind and terrain (Can be smooth or bumpy).
- Traditional Bubbly Celebration after landing.

- 50% refund: Cancelled 13–7 days in advance.
- 25% refund: Cancelled 6 days to 48 hours in advance.
